We aim to serve as a regional source of teaching, research and human resource development in the field of Korean studies.
Our objectives are to:
- Develop and promote Korean studies in Romania and Europe through the ROK Center by introducing lectures, conducting research, and organizing workshops, seminars, conferences and other events
- Develop human resources for Korean studies by creating and supporting an international team of Romanian and Korean researchers and stimulating student activity within the ROK Center
- Enhance the understanding of Korean studies and Korean culture through the experience and study of Korean mobility of people, goods and ideas at the ROK Center
